Thank you for all your support and well wishes over the past couple of weeks. We are very happy to announce our bakery shops in Ash Vale and Worplesdon will both be re-opening tomorrow morning, Tuesday 26th, at 7.30am, and our local home delivery service will resume Thursday 28th. Priority will go to those who booked a home delivery as we closed, so these will go out first on Wednesday 27th.
We have missed seeing all our customers and are very much looking forward to welcoming you all back, but as our bakery operations slowly recover and get back to normal, we may not have all your favourite lines, however as the week goes on, we will be introducing more and more as we continue to bake day and night.
As our business has been impacted by the Coronavirus, we are putting in additional safeguarding, and would like to remind all our customers when visiting our shops to please use the hand sanitiser stations upon entry and please ensure you wear your face coverings. We have instructed our retail staff that any customers who do not co-operate, will not be served. Finally, we have taken the decision to reduce again, the number of customers in our shops at any one time and ask that you please follow our new door policy and we will endeavour to serve you as quickly and safely as possible.
Let’s hope we will all soon see signs of normality, where we can be together and shop together, but for now let’s be sure to follow the guidelines set out by the government on social distancing and hand washing, and hopefully we can enjoy a sociable summer!

Making bread requires care, technical knowledge and a great deal of commitment. At the Christmas Bakery we produce a variety of different breads to suit all tastes, from traditional white and wholemeal loaves to sourdough’s and speciality breads including our bestselling Multi-seed and Norfolk Crunch. All our breads and rolls are made with strong flours milled the traditional way from Canadian and English wheat. We work with Heygates, a family milling business since the 19th Century, who deliver twice a week from their mill in Tring. With nearly 4 tonnes of flour delivered every week, we're baking nearly 24 hours a day, 6 days a week to ensure you enjoy warm, hearty loaves!
