We produce a large range of daily fresh breads, cakes and pastries all made onsite at our Bakery in Worplesdon. Using traditional methods we are proud of our craft bakers roots and continue to produce time-honoured lines such as our Jap Fancies, Lardy Cakes and Bread Pudding as well as British Bread Classics like the Cottage Loaf. With bakery being an exciting and versatile industry that continues to develop more and more products to meet new trends, we too continue to innovate. Each month we try to invent something new or add a modern twist to an old favourite, so for every time you visit you always have a choice, and you'll always want to come back for more.

Fresh Bread & Rolls

Making bread requires care, technical knowledge and a great deal of commitment. At the Christmas Bakery we produce a variety of different breads to suit all tastes, from traditional white and wholemeal loaves to sourdough’s and speciality breads including our bestselling Multi-seed and Norfolk Crunch. All our breads and rolls are made with strong flours milled the traditional way from Canadian and English wheat. We work with Heygates, a family milling business since the 19th Century, who deliver twice a week from their mill in Tring. With nearly 4 tonnes of flour delivered every week, we're baking nearly 24 hours a day, 6 days a week to ensure you enjoy warm, hearty loaves!

Cakes & Pastries

Here at the Christmas Bakery we live by when we're happy we celebrate with cake! And when we're sad we console ourselves with cake! We believe cakes should be sweet, delicious and colourful, so all our cakes are made with that in mind. We produce a huge variety of cakes and pastries every week for you to enjoy, from lemon drizzle to chocolate eclairs, caramel slices to flapjack, cupcakes to fudge brownie, iced finger buns to jam doughnuts, chelsea buns to cream slices and many, many more!

Celebration Cakes

As a craft bakers we make delicious celebration cakes, but in the traditional way. Our cakes are made from a light sponge, and sandwiched together with a mixed fruit jam and our Baker's cream, iced all in fondant with a personalised messaged piped on top. Fancy a Breakfast bite? Or a Lunchtime snack? Every day our shops sell freshly prepared, tasty, hot and cold food-to-go options for breakfast and lunch for you to take-away, as well as fresh coffees and cold drinks. We hand make everything onsite including a huge range of filled crusty rolls, baps, baguettes, sandwiches and hot and cold savouries including sausage rolls and bacon puffs.
