Christmas Bakery Coronavirus Update

With the current public health crisis regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), we would like to reassure all our customers that we are doing everything in our power to remain open, whilst taking every precaution to safeguard the health and well-being of both employees and customers, which remains our up most importance. 

To continue safeguarding and in accordance with the social distancing guidelines set out by the Government, we have introduced several new initiatives:

We have Restricted the number of customers entering our shops to 2 at any one time, and staff members to 3.  This will mean a slower service to what you’re used to, but our retail teams will endeavour to serve as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Our shop opening hours have reduced: from Monday 20th April our shops will open:

Ash Vale: 8.00am – 2.00pm Monday to Saturday

Worplesdon: 8.00am – 3.00pm Monday to Saturday

We have reduced the number of product lines so to focus on the production of essential baked goods

Although our shops are still accepting cash payments, where possible we please ask if customers could please make contactless payments

We have launched a home delivery doorstep service for vulnerable members of our community and those self-isolating, living within the GU1, GU3, GU12, GU16, GU21, GU22, GU23 and GU24 postcodes. To place an order for home delivery please call the office on 01483 232142 between 10am and 2pm.

Fresh Bread & Rolls

Making bread requires care, technical knowledge and a great deal of commitment. At the Christmas Bakery we produce a variety of different breads to suit all tastes, from traditional white and wholemeal loaves to sourdough’s and speciality breads including our bestselling Multi-seed and Norfolk Crunch. All our breads and rolls are made with strong flours milled the traditional way from Canadian and English wheat. We work with Heygates, a family milling business since the 19th Century, who deliver twice a week from their mill in Tring. With nearly 4 tonnes of flour delivered every week, we're baking nearly 24 hours a day, 6 days a week to ensure you enjoy warm, hearty loaves!
